ULearning
This post is also available in: Nederlands (Dutch)
In the ULearning Platform, it is possible to offer course materials or develop content for an online module. Several types of learning activities can be set up such as a diverse range of assignments, discussion forums and interactive videos. Because of this wide range of learning activities, there are many opportunities to create interactions between the student and the course material.
Among other things, online modules can be used to prepare for lessons, to practice learning material or skills, to activate prior knowledge and to structure course content. It is possible to integrate other tools, such as Feedbackfruits or DialogueTrainer, into the ULearning Platform.
The ULearning Platform is very suitable for facilitating time- and location-independent learning (asynchronous learning). This means that the platform is at its best when, in addition to teaching material, interactive learning activities are included.
Want to learn more about developing e-modules yourself? Check out How to develop an e-module (login with Solis-id) which explains step by step how to design and develop an e-module.
Want to know more about this tool? Then use the Request tool button. Through this button you can request the tool and make an appointment for didactic or technical advice.
- Can I take a casual look at the platform?
Yes. Through the following link it is possible to register for the Course: Get to know the Ulearning platform (uu.nl)This course was developed on the ULearning platform and gives a good overview of all possible activities. To register, you must have a Solis-id. Don’t have a Solis-id? Then contact: ulearning-support@uu.nl.
- Can you video call in the platform?
Interaction between students and interaction between students and teachers can be facilitated on the platform. However, this is limited to written interaction (discussion forum, scheduled chat session, commenting). There is currently no video call option in the platform.
- How much time does it take to develop a course/e-module in the platform?
This varies by course and by purpose. Both learning to work with the platform and developing and designing the course/e-module takes time. You can discuss with an educational consultant how much time will be required. An advantage of a course once developed, is that you can continue to use it in the ULearning platform and modify it all the time if necessary.
- Does ULearning meet the requirements of the ‘AVG’?
Yes.
