Xerte

This post is also available in: Nederlands (Dutch)

In Xerte’s online development environment you can create an e-module with interactive questions, videos, images, and informative texts.

E-modules can be used as preparation for a lecture, webinar, (online) workgroup or lab, allowing students to come to class more prepared. E-modules can also replace a lecture or practical, by offering the material to the student online. This provides space in the lessons on campus for questions, discussion, and depth.

Want to learn more about developing e-modules yourself? Check out How to develop an e-module (login with Solis-id) which explains step by step how to design and develop an e-module.

If you want to use this tool, you can log-in here using your Solis-ID.

How do I give students access to an e-module I created in Xerte?

There’s an ‘export’ feature in your e-module’s project properties in Xerte. You can put the module in your Blackboard course environment as a SCORM package. Your students will access the module through your course.

The CAT, together with teachers, evaluates all educational innovations for their added value to the quality of education. All completed research reports are organized by theme.
