Brightspace Quizzes

Brightspace’s Quiz functionality allows you to compose formative assignments and tests. A variety of question types is possible, and close-ended questions like multiple choice are automatically checked by Brightspace. It is recommended to first add the questions to the Question Library in Brightspace after which you can import import the questions into a quiz or reuse them in a quiz in another course. This functionality is especially useful for formative assessment.
Brightspace Quizzes has many features, including:
- Providing effective and specific feedback on submitted quizzes.
- Detailed quiz statistics and analysis options.
- Creating sections (question blocks) with a random question order.
- Setting conditions for taking the quiz, such as allowing extra time or multiple attempts.
- Communicating results immediately, including pre-filled feedback.

Is a Brightspace Quiz comparable to Wooclap
Wooclap is a tool that you can use during a class session to activate your students and get them more involved, as well as to provide real-time feedback.
Brightspace Quizzes can be used for tests during or outside a class session and has the advantage of generating more comprehensive and detailed quiz reports and offering opportunities to provide more specific feedback.
Can Brightspace Quizzes be used for summative testing?
Remindo is recommended for summative testing because it allows digital tests to be scheduled and performed in a secured way.
