Brightspace’s Quiz functionality allows you to compose formative assignments and tests. A variety of question types is possible, and close-ended questions like multiple choice are automatically checked by Brightspace. It is recommended to first add the questions to the Question Library in Brightspace after which you can import import the questions into a quiz or reuse them in a quiz in another course. This functionality is especially useful for formative assessment.

Brightspace Quizzes has many features, including:

• Providing effective and specific feedback on submitted quizzes.
• Detailed quiz statistics and analysis options.
• Creating sections (question blocks) with a random question order.
• Setting conditions for taking the quiz, such as allowing extra time or multiple attempts.
• Communicating results immediately, including pre-filled feedback.
