Xerte is an authoring tool for creating e-modules with interactive questions, videos, images and informative texts.

E-modules can be used as preparation for a lecture, webinar, (online) workgroup or lab, allowing students to come to class more prepared. E-modules can also replace a lecture or practical, by offering the material to the student online. This provides space in the lessons on campus for questions, discussion, and depth.

Want to learn more about developing e-modules yourself? Check out How to develop an e-module (login with Solis-id) which explains step by step how to design and develop an e-module.

If you want to use this tool, you can log-in here using your Solis-ID.

How do I give students access to an e-module I created in Xerte?

There’s an ‘export’ feature in your e-module’s project properties in Xerte. You can place the module in your Brightspace course as a SCORM package and your students will access the module through the Brightspace course.
