The Six Teacher Tasks
In the Teaching and Learning Collection, some items are categorized around six teacher tasks. The tasks reflect university teachers’ different areas of expertise and are based on a systematic review (van Dijk et al., 2020).

Interdisciplinarity

Interdisciplinary education plays an important role in the learning trajectories of students on BA, MA and PhD levels as well as in Continuing Education. UU strives for an educational culture in which high-quality interdisciplinary education is self-evident, teachers are encouraged and supported to innovate their teaching, and educational interventions are research-informed.</strong>
Open Educational Resources
Open Educational Resources encompass open learning materials. These learning materials can be used for personal education without a license. Creators can share and utilize these learning materials from one another.
Societal Engagement
Perhaps you’ve heard about educational concepts such as Community Engaged Learning and Challenge Based Learning but are not sure about their meanings or how they are connected. Alternatively, you may be interested in collaborating with societal partners in your own education but are unsure how to start. This article aims to assist you and provide some answers to these queries.
