The Transition Makers Toolbox contains ready-to-use teaching activities for personal and professional development of students and is structured around the Inner Development Goals framework, which focuses on personal and professional development as the foundation for sustainable change in organisations and society. This framework complements the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), based on the conviction that inner growth is necessary to handle major societal challenges.

The toolbox is a source of inspiration for innovative teaching methods that enable students to develop the skills and attitudes needed to make a meaningful social impact. The Transition Makers Toolbox is developed in a collaboration between the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (IIS) at the University of Amsterdam and the alliance of Eindhoven University of Technology, Wageningen University & Research, Utrecht University and University Medical Centre Utrecht (EWUU), supported by the Teaching & Learning Centre at the University of Amsterdam and Liberal Arts and Sciences and University College Utrecht at Utrecht University.
